Corona blast of 426 cases

244 cases are from Raipur only. The single day spike of coronavirus in State reached a new high with 426 cases being reported on Friday and the number of cases in State Capital also crossed an all time high of 244 patients.
Count of pandemic coronavirus infection cases in Chhattisgarh surged to 6,819 with detection of 426 fresh cases on Friday. Number of corona patients, who are being treated in various hospitals, is reported to be 2,216 at present, while 4,567 patients have been sent home after recovery. The pandemic has claimed as many as 36 lives in State including two deaths on Friday.
 
General Administration Department Section-II, IAS Establishment of Mantralaya has been sealed after a female peon of department has been tested corona positive on Friday.
 
Among the fresh 426 cases, 244 are from Raipur, 28 Rajnandgaon, 20 Durg, 18 Bastar, 15 Kanker, 14 each in Kondagaon and Korba, 11 Balrampur, 10 Raigarh, 9 each in Bijapur and Surguja, 8 Surajpur, 7 Bemetara, 6 Janjgir-Champa, 3 Jashpur, 2 each in Balod, Balodabazaar, Bilaspur and Dantewada, 1 each in Mahasamund and Gariaband. On Thursday night 8 corona positive cases were detected in Durg district. Apart from this 15 positive cases were detected from samples collected earlier. It includes 5 in Balodabazaar, 3 each in Balod, Raipur and Dhamtari and 1
in Bemetara.
 
A 30 years old woman was admitted in Dr B R Ambedkar Memorial Hospital on July 14, she was suffering from fever, cough and breathlessness. She was detected corona positive. She died of Septic shock, Acute Kidney injury, Covid Pneumonia and Urosepsis.
 
Another 33 years old male patientsuffering from Convulsive Disorder, Necro Pancreatitis and cronic kidney disease was admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on July 13 and he was tested Corona positive on
July 15. He died of Per-rectal (internal bleeding) which caused blockage of breath and heart.
 
Out of 180 discharged patients 35 are of Durg, 2 Balod, 1 Bemetara, 8 Kabirdham, 63 Raipur, 20Janjgir-Champa, 9 Mungeli, 9 Surguja, 6 Koriya, 15 Kanker and 12 Narainpur. Out of total 6,819 patients, 394 are from Durg, 506 Rajnandgaon, 85 Balod, 120 Bemetara, 170 Kabirdham, 1,854 Raipur, 34 Dhamtari, 319 Balodabazar, 110 Mahasamund, 81 Gariaband, 482 Bilaspur, 185 Raigarh, 381 Korba, 393 Janjgir-Champa, 163 Mungeli, 14 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 206 Surguja, 96 Koriya,42 Surajpur, 184 Balrampur, 215 Jashpur, 136 Bastar, 59 Kondagaon, 98 Dantewada, 68 Sukma, 198 Kanker, 155 Narainpur, 64 Bijapur and 7 of other state.
 
Total active cases are 2,216 and the patients are 117 in Durg, 70 Rajnandgaon, 18 Balod, 23 Bemetara, 50 Kabirdham, 1,061 Raipur, 10 Dhamtari, 20 Balodabazar, 18 Mahasamund, 23 Gariaband, 144 Bilaspur, 31 Raigarh, 40 Korba, 66 Janjgir-Champa, 31 Mungeli, 5 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 91 Surguja, 15 Koriya, 11 Surajpur, 19 Balrampur, 25 Jashpur, 61 Bastar, 43 Kondagaon,29 Dantewada, 38 Sukma, 81 Kanker, 24 Narainpur, 49 Bijapur and 3 of other state.
As per report total of 4,567 patients were discharged after successful treatment, out of which 272 patients were from Durg, 433 Rajnandgaon, 67 Balod, 97 Bemetara, 120 Kabirdham, 778 of Raipur, 23 Dhamtari, 298 of Balodabazar,91 Mahasamund, 58 Gariaband, 336 Bilaspur, 152 Raigarh, 341 Korba, 325 Janjgir-Champa, 132 Mungeli, 9 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 114 Surguja, 81 Koriya, 31 Surajpur, 165 Balrampur, 190 Jashpur, 74 Jagdalpur, 16 Kondagaon, 69 Dantewada,30 Sukma, 117 Kanker, 131 Narainpur,15 Bijapur and 2 of other state.
