After Government announced to impose full-scale lockdown for ten days, city residents remained indoors leaving the streets deserted. While only pharmacy shops and hospitals were opened as a part of emergency services, ration, dairies, fruits, vegetable vendors kept their shops completely closed on Saturday. On Friday evening, people collected the daily needs items from shops to follow the lockdown orders intact.

Police team too focused to keep people indoors and do not let anyone out except emergency service. Besides, house maids were not allowed to step out of home as part of social distancing exercise that help to stop spread of the COVID-19.

Police team warned people in a few areas by charging challan for stepping out of home without any purpose. City roads, markets, shops, bus stand, railway station wore a deserted look and a few vehicles were on the road. Citizens too supported the lockdown and preferred to stay indoors. In Bhopal city, only bare private vehicles were playing on road and vendors were off to road since morning hours. It was almost curfew-like situation. In most of the areas people co-operated with the police team and did not venture out.
