Glitches in distribution of passes to vendors result in shortage of veggies

vegetable vendors faced problem to get passes to supply vegetables on Saturday. SDM Kolar Rajesh Gupta said Bhopal Municipal Corporation has been asked to streamline the process of vegetable distribution and for that necessary measures will be taken.
 
Queue was witnessed in front of vegetable vendor vehicles in many wards. People faced shortage of fruits and vegetables as in many areas vegetables were sold up too fast. Ruffle between denizens was also witnessed at some areas due to rush. Though social distancing is followed but due to inadequate supply of vegetables vehicles people are facing problem. Amidst complete lockdown, BMC vehicles are delivering vegetables from house to house.
 
The city is divided into 8 zones for this facility. BMC said that the scheme is being re-launched so that people do not have problems during complete lockdown. Under this new system, farmers of different villages will be able to sell vegetables to the Municipal Corporation through vendors.
 
Then this vegetable is delivered in different areas. But problem of distribution is being faced due to total lockdown. However, Sanchi parlors remained open in new, old city, Kolar, BHEL Township and Bairagarh. At the same time, the administration is also providing essential grocery material including sugar, tea leaves at Sanchi parlors so as to facilitate public.
