Collector checks on health of people in containment zones

COLLECTOR Bharat Yadav carried out inspection at Gupteshwar ward Prem Nagar Madan Mahal containment zone and instructed to restrict public movement in the area strictly. He emphasised on barricading at all the entrance roads in the containment zones and to make strong barricading so that entry and movement of residents could be restricted in view of controlling spread of coronavirus in the areas. Collector Yadav instructed the field team surveying in the area to strictly monitor over health conditions of the residents and also appealed local residents to extend their support to the health survey teams coming doorsteps in the containment zone.
He also urged people to strictly follow the restrictions and protocol as per guidelines for containment zones. Thereafter, he visited the Urban Primary Health Centre, Gupteshwar situated fever clinic. During the inspection he instructed the officials to carry out extensive drive and to encourage local residents to visit fever clinics for their health check-up.
During the inspection of the fever clinic and containment zone areas Collector was accompanied by Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Ratnesh Kuraria, SDM Gorakhpur, Manindra Singh and Municipal Corporation’s team of officials and employees were present.
