Coronavirus grips 245 more in C’garh

THERE seems to be no let down in the number of cases reported in State since a last few days. The cases have now started coming in the bracket of 200-300 much to the concern of the government. The government in a bit to break the rally announced the lockdown but it would take more time to make a break in the number of cases being reported in Chhattisgarh and more particularly the new hotspot Raipur. Of the 245 corona positive detected on Monday, the count in State Capital Raipur alone went to 88. With this the total number of patients in Chhattisgarh reached 7,863. Number of Active corona patients, who are being treated in various hospitals is 2,646 at present; while 5,172 patients have been sent home after recovery.
The pandemic has so far claimed as many as 45 lives in State including two deaths on Monday. Among the fresh 245 cases, 88 are from Raipur, 50 Bilaspur,49 Durg, 18 Rajnandgaon, 14 Balodabazaar, 5 Mahasamund, 4 in Bemetara, 4 Kabirdham, 2 each in Gariaband, Janjgir-Champa, Koriya, Bastar and Kanker, 1 each in Raigarh, Balod and Surguja. 5 Corona positive patients were found in Raigarh on Sunday. As per medical bulletin two patients died of corona in the last 24 hours. A 50 years old male from Shadani Darbar Raipur was taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on July 25 at 4:06 pm where doctors declared him brought dead. His sample taken by the doctor was found positive. A 35 years old woman from Masturi in Bilaspur district, was admitted in private hospital Bilaspur.
On July 25 he was admitted to Medical College Hospital. She was suffering from HCV, HIV and other ailment. She died on July 25 and her sample was found positive. Total active cases are 2,646 and the patients are 325 in Durg, 102 Rajnandgaon, 10 Balod, 19 Bemetara, 56 Kabirdham, 1,252 Raipur, 4 Dhamtari, 49 Balodabazar, 17 Mahasamund, 22 Gariaband, 151 Bilaspur, 47 Raigarh, 50 Korba, 60 Janjgir-Champa, 32 Mungeli, 5 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 65 Surguja, 17 Koriya, 2 Surajpur, 18 Balrampur, 28 Jashpur, 69 Bastar, 46 Kondagaon, 23 Dantewada, 45 Sukma, 53 Kanker, 18 Narainpur, 60 Bijapur and 1 of other state. Out of 228 discharged patients, 14 are of Durg, 21 Rajnandgaon, 9 Balod, 7 Bemetara, 2 Kabirdham, 87 Raipur, 2 Dhamtari, 5 Balodabazaar, 6 Mahasamund, 1 Gariaband, 16 Bilaspur, 3 Korba, 13 Janjgir-Champa, 2 Surguja, 7 Surajpur, 14 Dantewada and 19 Kanker.
Out of total 7,863 patients, 635 are from Durg, 561 Rajnandgaon, 88 Balod, 127 Bemetara, 179 Kabirdham, 2275 Raipur, 35 Dhamtari, 355 Balodabazar, 116 Mahasamund, 83 Gariaband, 580 Bilaspur, 207 Raigarh, 394 Korba, 413 Janjgir-Champa, 166 Mungeli, 14 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 208 Surguja, 99 Koriya, 44 Surajpur, 186 Balrampur, 219 Jashpur, 170 Bastar, 65 Kondagaon, 110 Dantewada, 77 Sukma, 219 Kanker, 156 Narainpur, 75 Bijapur and 7 of other state. Of the 5,172 patients discharged after successful treatment, 304 patients were from Durg, 456 Rajnandgaon, 78 Balod, 108 Bemetara, 123 Kabirdham, 1,003 of Raipur, 30 Dhamtari, 304 of Balodabazar,98 Mahasamund, 61 Gariaband, 426 Bilaspur, 158 Raigarh, 344 Korba, 351 Janjgir-Champa, 134 Mungeli, 9 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 142 Surguja, 82 Koriya, 41 Surajpur, 168 Balrampur, 191 Jashpur, 100 Jagdalpur, 19 Kondagaon, 87 Dantewada,32 Sukma, 166 Kanker, 138 Narainpur,15 Bijapur and 4 of other state.
