MPBSE Class XII result: 68.81 % students pass

Pass percentage dropped by 3.56% 
 
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the results of higher secondary examinations, higher secondary vocational and visually and hearing impaired examinations 2020 that were held in March and rescheduled some of the examinations in June due to COVID-19 pandemic, on Monday. Overall pass percentage this year is 68.81 % which dropped by 3.56 per cent. Whereas the last year pass percentage was 72.37 %. While pass percentage of private examinees registered is 28.70 per cent. Total 121 students are merit holders.
 
Continuing their first position for last many years, the girls have once again outperformed boys with 73.40 per cent while the boys’ passing percentage remained 64.66. The Government schools have shown better results than private schools with 71.43 per cent while private schools recorded 64.93 per cent. The State toppers are Priya Shambhu Lal and Rinku Bathra from Government School of Excellence, Mandsaur, who secured first positions with 495 marks out of 500, 99 per cent in Science-Maths Stream.
 
In Science-Biology Anushka Gupta secured first position with 490 marks (98 per cent). Mufddal Arviwala from Government Alpha English Higher Secondary School, Neemuch, secured first position with 487 marks (97.4 per cent) in Commerce stream. Khushi Singh from Government Girl’s Higher Secondary School, Rewam secured first position with 486 marks out of 500 and 97.2 per cent in Humanities. Gaurav Ojha of Pragya Bal Mandir, Shivpuri secured 483 marks (96.6%) in Agriculture. Shubhanshi Mishra from Government Girl’s HSS, Chhatarpur, secured 88.8% in Fine Arts and Home Science. Pass percentage of Divyang and visually impaired and hearing impaired students recorded 71.08 per cent, including 70.63 per cent of boys and 71.92 per cent of girls.
