First virtual Cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. CM presided over meeting from hospital where he is undergoing treatment of coronavirus. Ministers took part in the Cabinet meeting from different places through video-conferencing. Cabinet decided to change name of ‘Chambal Expressway to ‘Chambal Progress Way’.
 
 
Approval was given for construction of Chambal Progress Way under Bharatmala Project. Under the scheme, approval was granted for construction of 309 km four-lane green field road from Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan border to Bhind district via Morena.
 
Free land will be provided by the State Government for project. Private land to be acquired will be exchanged with Government land as far as possible. Cabinet endorsed arrangements for treatment of COVID infected people, in which Ayushman Bharat Niramay Madhya Pradesh will bear 40 per cent burden of the expenses as per the value of the package prescribed for the treatment of COVID under Jan Arogya Yojana in recognised hospitals of people deemed eligible by Government of India. Similarly, under Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Niramay Madhya Pradesh will bear 100 per cent of expenditure as per value of the package prescribed for treatment of COVID in hospitals recognised by the State Government. Those who do not have eligibility in both the above categories will get free treatment in government hospitals/contracted private hospitals.
