TAKING special care of cleanliness and of hygiene at Covid Care Centres (CCC) and at quarantine centres and also provide patients with proper food, milk, decoction, tea, water etc on time, said Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat. Divisional Commissioner Kiyawat informed this while inspecting different quarantine centres and Covid Care Centres in State capital. He directed the officials concerned to provide necessary and basic facilities to the patients.
Kiyawat visited RGPV Covid Care Centre, TB Hospital Covid Care Centre and IISER quarantine centre and took stock of the arrangements. Collector Avinash Lavania and BMC Commissioner VS Chaudhary Kolsani also accompanied Kiyawat during inspection. Divisional Commissioner Kiyawat also asked about the well being of the patients undergoing treatment and directed the officials to resolve problems being faced by the patients.
It is notable that in the recent past many an irregularities have cropped up at different quarantine centres and Covid Care Centres, which were in contradiction with the tall claims of the Government.Kiyawat said that in this difficult time, all of us have to make combined efforts to make better arrangements for coronavirus patients. The doctors should remain 24X7 and that toilet sanitation should be taken care of. The officials also visited the 100-bed Covid Care Centre at State TB Hospital. The Public Works Department was directed to complete the construction of oxygen plant platform being built for the supply of centralised and pressurised oxygen along with maintaining necessary arrangements.
