Putting up with a vigilant check on land mafia, a combined team of police, administration and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation removed encroachments from Government land amounting to Rs 2.25 crore in village Mohaniya. Anti-encroachment team demolished a dairy farm, incense factory, swimming pool and houses from the Government land.
 
It may be noted that under the direction of Collector Bharat Yadav and Superintendent of Police Siddharth Bahuguna, combined team of police and district administration and Jabalpur Municipal Corporation started a rigorous campaign against land mafia, money launderers and fraudulent persons. Continuing the campaign, the team led by Additional Collector Sandeep GR, Additional SP (North), Agam Jain, SDM, Divya Swasthi, CSP, Ranjhi, Kaushal Singh, Tehsildar, Ranjhi and SHO of Ranjhi police station along with anti-encroachment team of JMC and police team reached village Mohaniya.
 
Anti-encroachment team removed illegal structure of a house on 3,000 sq ft of Government land constructed by Satish Sagar (55), son of Ravi Shankar Sagar in Mohaniya and under construction dairy farm, incense sticks factory, a swimming pool and a house situated on 2 acres Government land by Dilshad Khan (53), son of Ahmed Ali Khan, resident of Indira Nagar near Aiyyappa Mandir in Ranjhi.
 
In further investigation, police learnt that land mafia Satish Sagar was involved in eight crime cases and six cases of forgery at Ranjhi police station. Similarly, five crime cases registered have been against Dilshad Khan before the court and a report for his externment from the district limits is being prepared.
