Music score takes Himanshri’s tally to 100

CHAMPIONS are born, with proper guidance and motivation, they create history, became true about Himanshri Gawande, who scored 98.4 per cent marks (best of five subjects) in SSC examination, but with additional eight marks of Music, her score became cent per cent. Himanshri Gawande is a student of The South Public School, Omkar Nagar and the school captain who brought laurels to the school, winning National Group’s Singing Competition at Bengaluru this year as captain. She scored 91 marks in English, 97 in Marathi, 99 in Social Science, 98 in Science, 98 in Maths and 100 in Sanskrit.
 
She has completed Mandhama Purna in classical music with ‘A’ grade and Prarambhik of Bharat Natya. Himanshi is elder daughter of Pravin Gawande, Village Development Officer at Mahalgaon, in Nagpur district. Her mother Varsha Gawande is a home maker, while her younger sister is studying in Class 8. “Putting 100 per cent in what you do and giving proper time to all activities,” Himanshri said, sharing her success mantra. She wants to be a doctor and continue her hobby of singing and dancing both.
