‘Political appointments in boards, corporations, commission will be a burden’

Janta Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) Legislative Party leader Dharamjeet Singh has opposed Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel Government’s decision to appoint parliamentary secretaries and political appointments in boards, corporations and commissions, saying that these appointments would give extra financial burden on the exchequer and the people of the State during the corona crisis. Lormi MLA Dharamjeet Singh while criticising the move of the Congress Government over the political appointments in boards, corporations and commissions said that at this hour of crisis this will only be a burden on the Government.
 
The JCC (Jogi) leader said that Congress Government has curtailed 30 per cent budget of the Government Departments during the corona crisis and then such financial crisis, the Congress Government should not go ahead with political appointments in boards, commissions and corporations that will give extra financial burden to the people of State.
 
It may be mentioned that CPCC finalised he names of the party leaders for political appointments in boards and the list of the selected Congress leaders has been sent to the Congress high command for approval.
