‘There will be no injustice with Shiksharmis, youths’

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday said that the State Government has delayed the merger of remaining hikshakarmis with the Education Department and recruitment for the posts of 15,000 teachers due to corona crisis. Talking to mediapersons at State Congress party office Rajiv Bhawan after the meeting of the Presidents of the District Congress Committees (DCCs), Chief Minister Baghel said that there will be no injustice with the Shikshakarmis and the youths.
 
The State Government issued an order to suspend the merger of remaining Shikshakarmis as the corona crisis has hit the finances and revenue of the State Government. With the schools reopening and as the financial condition of the state improves, the State Government would initiate the processes for merger of remaining Shikshakarmis and recruitment for the posts of 15,000 teachers, indicated Baghel. Sowing of kharif crops has begun in the state. The state is receiving good rainfalls. There is enough water in dams. There is no dearth of seeds and fertilisers in the state. There is every possibility of good crops in the State, said Baghel.
 
Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) President Mohan Markam said that progress report for construction of building for district Congress party office, constitution of executive body of the DCC, inclusion of Chhattisgarh for Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana and other matters were discussed in detail in the meeting. Mohan Markam said that Congress National President Sonia Gandhi along with former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi and Chhattisgarh Congress In-charge P L Punia would lay the foundation stones for construction of buildings for party offices in 22 districts through video conferencing on the occasion of birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, on August 20.
 
It has been decided in the meeting to take cooperation from Congress leaders, workers, farmers, labourers, students and common people for construction of Congress Bhawan in the districts. Raipur Rural MLA Satyanarayan Sharma, Abhanpur MLA Dhanendra Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Rajya Sabha Member Chhaya Verma, Rajya Sabha Member Phulodevi Netam, CPCC Vice-President Girish Dewangan, Treasurer Ramgopal Agrawal, CPCC’s Communication Department Chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Gurumukh Singh Hora, In-charge General Secretary Chandrashekhar Shukla, presidents of DCCs and other party leaders attended the meeting.
