STF (Forest) has arrested youth allegedly involved in poaching of wildlife at Vidisha-Berasiya Road on Saturday. The team has also recovered alive rabbit from his possession. A case under Wildlife Protection Act has been registered in Bersaiya range for further investigation of wildlife poaching and illegal trade. Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF) Ravindra Saxena informed that informer of District Wildlife Conservator Asif Hasan told him about group of people involved in illegal trade of wildlife in a village at Vidisha-Berasiya Road. He informed that the group sell wildlife to the people passionate in eating small animals like rabbit, deer, Sambhar, etc.
 
Taking the information on immediate note, CCF Ravindra Saxena busted the spot with his team including District Forest Officer (DFO) H S Mishra, SDO S S Bhadauria and Sunil Bhardwaj. The flying squad team was formed under incharge of R K Chaturvedi. Team members of the flying squad team were forest guard Chintan Tiwari, Ambika Srivastav, Anwar Khan, Chandrika Katare, Sharda Singh Parihar, Khuman Singh, Vinod Sharma and Pramod Srivastav. When busted the spot, two youth from Pardhi community were selling a rabbit at roadside. When they witnessed the team, one of the accused absconded while the second accused Kundesh Pardhi (20 years) was arrested with alive rabbit.
