A cyclonic circulation is marked over South Gujarat and North Konkan and adjoining the Arabian Sea, more prominent in the medium levels of the atmosphere. This feature is going to become more organised and shift northward closer to the Saurashtra coast. Numerical models are displaying the potential of this system to strengthen to a possible depression between July 6 and 8. These weather changes brought rains in Central India and will continue till July 12. Good rains in the first week of July also raised the water level in major dams of Nagpur district. Totladoh dam which is the major source of drinking water for Nagpur city and adjoining areas have 77.46 per cent of water level on July 5.
