Three of Gujarat-based firm booked for duping city man of Rs 2.01 lakh

Three persons working in Gujarat-based investment firm duped a senior citizen to the tune of Rs 2.01 lakh by promising handsome returns on his investment. The accused are identified as Vishwasare, Rahul, Arman Rao and others. According to police, the accused met Harish Dharmaji Anchalwar (68), a resident of Plot No. 7, Saket Nagar, and encouraged him for investment in their company.
 
They promised the victim that he would get handsome returns per month in the form of interest. Anchalwar believed their words and invested Rs 2.01 lakh in the company on April 2018. Soon after getting the money, the investor not received a single penny from the company. After realising the fraud, the man approached Ajni police and lodged a complaint. An offence under Sections 420 and 34 of Indian Penal Code was registered by Ajni police. Further investigation is on.
