Ensure respect, dignity of CA profession is maintained in times to come: Loya

The 72nd Chartered Accountants’ Foundation Day was recently celebretaed with great enthusiasm but in a unique way taking all precautionary measures in view threat of COVID-19. Senior and eminent Chartered Accountant CA Rajesh Loya, who is also former Chairman of Nagpur Branch and RSS Mahanagar Sanghchalak, was the chief guest.
 
On the occasion, Loya shared his thoughts on the changing expectations of the profession, in view of testing times because of the pandemic. “Need of the hour to ensure that the respect and dignity of profession is maintained in times to come,” he said urging the fellow members to keep themselves updated and ready for the challenges in near future. He appealed to the members to play expected role in reviving past favourable trends of Indian economy. He guided the members with his rich treasure of knowledge and appealed the members to take care of themselves, family members, friends and clients as well from the unwanted pressures of negativity and depression.
 
Past President of ICAI CA Jaydeep Shah guided the members about the illustrious past of the institute and Nagpur Branch. Regional Council Member CA Abhijit Kelkar congratulated members on the occasion. He conveyed to stay ready to face any sort of challenges for effectively conquering the adversities in personal and professional lives. At the outset CA Kirit Kalyani, Chairman of the Branch, said, it is a moment of great joy and pride to celebrate the Chartered Accountants Day. CA Saket Bagdia, Vice Chairman of the branch, conducted the proceedings. CA Jiten Saglani, Secretary, proposed formal vote of thanks. CA. Sanjay M Agrawal, Treasurer, CA Akshay Gulhane, Chairman - WICASA, CA Harish Rangwani, Executive Committee Member, and others were present.
