He also launched ‘Gramin Kamgar Setu Portal’ through video-conferencing at Mantralaya n The State Government on the lines of urban street vendors will now provide working capital of Rs 10,000 without interest from banks to rural street vendors for their works and business, assured Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while launching the Scheme 
 
“WHEN the Government is there to help people restart their business and to lend money for business then there is no need to go to moneylenders for loan. The Government on the lines of urban street vendors will now provide working capital of Rs 10,000 without interest from banks to rural street vendors for their works and business,” assured Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday. He expressed these views while launching ‘Mukhya Mantri Street Vendor Loan Scheme’ and ‘Gramin Kamgar Setu Portal’ through video-conferencing at Mantralaya.
 
Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Manoj Shrivastava and others were present during the conference. Chouhan further said the State Government will bear the interest amount. Beneficiaries are not supposed to give any kind of collateral security and security deposit to banks. No binding on caste and qualification: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that under the scheme there is no binding of caste, educational qualification etc.
 
Street vendors aged between 18 and 55 years of rural areas can avail benefits of the scheme. Hair dressers, handcart pullers, cycle rickshaw pullers, potters, cycle and motorcycle mechanics, carpenters, rural craftsmen, weavers, laundry men, tailors and workers related to Karmkar Mandal can avail benefits of the scheme.
