IN A BID to ensure development in every corner of State, a network of roads is being laid. Among these, an 8.85- km road has been constructed from Bacherabhata to Naxal-infested village Khursipar Khurd via Kholarghat. The road has been constructed through hills and forest areas. For the first time, a cemented road has been constructed from Bacherabhata of Dongargarh development block to Naxal infested village Khursipar Khurd via Kholarghat.
 
The road from Bacherabhata to Kholarghat is of 4.85 km and the road from Kholarghat to Khursipar Khurd is 4 km. The road has 12 culverts on it and has been constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna. Also, the Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Authority has widened the road at many points. According to information, a cement concrete road of 650 m is also constructed from Kholarghat to Khursipar Khurd road. Local residents Gayatri Verma, Sumitra Verma and Sukaru Bai expressed their happiness over the road construction and said that it was for the first time when the village had been linked with a cemented road. They said that with this now they could easily access to Dongargarh.
 
Another resident Munna Verma said that he was very happy and satisfied with the road construction. Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna Executive Engineer Gyanesh Kashyap said that earlier people used to face problems during monsoon but now this problem had been solved with the road construction. He further informed that patients particularly expecting women had to face trouble earlier, but now they can reach to the hospital in less time.
 
Collector Topeshwar Verma is claimed to be the first collector who visited Naxal-infested village Khursipar Khurd through Bacherabhata and Kholarghat during his weekly inspection. Collector Verma also praised the construction of road to the Naxal infested village.
