CHANDRAPUR, The new solar-powered mobile vegetables and essential goods shopee was inaugurated at the hands of Minister for Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation and Guardian Minister of Chandrapur Vijay Wadettiwar.
 
The move is aimed at providing employment opportunities to women in district and providing commodities to people at reasonable rates during the coronavirus crisis. Wadettiwar termed it as a innovative initiative and stated that this pilot project would be an ideal for other districts. He claimed that the new mobile shopee would be helpful in providing the essential commodities to people by maintaining social distancing. The Guardian Minister of Chandrapur lauded the efforts of Women Arthik Vikas Mahamandal (MAVM), mobile shopee team and the self-help groups involved in the project.
 
MLA Kishor Joregwar, Collector Dr Kunal Khemnar, ZP CEO Rahul Kiardile, MAVM District Co-ordination Officer Naresh Ugemuge, Accountant Narendra Bankar, CARC President and Manager were present on the occasion. MAVM is focusing on taking up the initiatives for strengthening women self help groups. The corporation is implementing various initiatives through NABARD, nationalised bank, Manav Vikas Mission, Integrated Tribal Development Project among others.
