BMC organised awareness rally against corona in Kolar.

Bhopal Municipal Corporation organised ‘Ek Mask Anek Zindagi’ awareness rally against corona and urged people to wear mask and ensure social distancing. The rally was flagged off from New Market area by BMC Commissioner KVS Chaudhary. COVID-19 SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) compliance strict monitoring was done in containment areas.
More barricades were placed in roads and commuters were checked in check points. BMC squad was also seen along with police officials penalising commuters for not wearing masks. People have been asked to come out only for essential services and trespassers stringent checking is done. The new standard operating protocol (SOP) which includes implementing social distancing and a token system at stores introduced in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

Besides, even in medical shops and petrol pumps under the new SOP that suggesting retailers to take, more emphasis be given to digital payments and reduce cash transaction, and maintain social distance. In some areas sanitisers and masks distribution in slums was also held. Social distancing squares and circles were also marked in front of grocery shops and medical shops as in some areas the markings got faded due to rains.
