Renowned ISL coaches to train budding footballers next summer

Renowned football coaches of teams that participate in Indian Super League (ISL) will be imparting coaching to budding footballers of the city next summer. The coaching camp will be held simultaneously at Yashwant Stadium, City Police ground, SECR Stadium, Motibagh, Central Railways ground, Ajni and Reshimbagh ground. Aai Kusum Sahare Foundation, along with NMC, has taken the initiative to provide top level coaching to the footballers under 16 years of age of Nagpur. The foundation organises slum soccer every year at Reshimbagh ground.
 
This would have been the 16th year but for coronavirus outbreak, the competition has to be postponed. To compensate the loss, Nagesh Sahare, President of the foundation and former NMC Sports Committee Chairman, mooted the idea of providing coaching to the footballers. Coaching will be imparted by renowned coaches of ISL teams like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, NorthEast United, Odisha FC, FC Goa, Hyderabad FC, Bengaluru FC, a press release issued by NMC states.
 
Several other organisations including Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Railways, Police Department, Organising Committee of Khasdar Krida Mahotsav, Nagpur District Football Association will also be part of this coaching programme. The coaching camp will be held under the guidance of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis, All India Football Association President Praful Patel.
