Youth serving food to needy in lockdown feted

Chandur Bazar branch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) recently felicitated Suyog Gorle, a youth and and his family members from Madhan in tehsil for opening Annachhatra (food serving centre)at his resident for 45 days for extending help to poor and needy persons during lockdown period. Notably, lockdown was imposed in the country to contain the spread of coronavirus which caused havoc across the globe. The lockdown had badly affected the labourers mostly and many of them had lost their livelihood. In order to extend a helping hand to such poor and needy people, Suyog Gorle, a youth from Madhan had opened Annachhatra at his residence. He cooked food at his residence and also supplied it to needy with the help of his family members.
 
He continued the social service for 45 days for facilitating needy people to get food during crisis. Suyog along with his wife Raksha and parents daily used to cook food for 200 people while Suyog used to take it to the people on time twice a day. Along with serving food to the poor and needy, he also served the patients. He had to face various difficulties in his social work. He has raised money for serving the people by selling mangoes, watermelon, groundnut, chappals and shoes.
 
He had taken patients to the hospital with his own vehicle to facilitate the people to reached the hospital during lockdown. Taking cognisance of his great social work, Chandur Bazar Branch of RSS honoured him at his home by presenting shawl, shrifal and certificate. Prof Mahesh Ganorkar, Zilla Karyawah of RSS, Ramesh Jawanjal, Kolhe, Suresh Wankhade, Shiva Kale, Taluqa Karyawah and Kishor Mete from Zilla Seva Vibhag were prominently present on the occasion.
