NUMBER OF coronavirus infected people in Chhattisgarh has reached 9,608 with detection of 181 cases till Sunday. Altogether, 6,991patients have been discharged after recovery, while 2,559 are still under treatment. A total of 58 people have died due to pandemic, so far, in the State. Three deaths were reported on Sunday. Out of 181 corona patients detected on Sunday, 67 are from Raipur, 19 Durg, 18 Raigarh, 11 Rajnandgaon, 10 Balodabazaar, 9 Kondagaon, 9 Bijapur, 8 Mahasamund, 8 Janjgir-Champa, 6 Bilaspur, 3 Surguja, 3 Koriya, 3 Kanker,2 Korba,1 each of Balod, Mungeli, Surajpur, Bastar and Dantewada.
 
A 66 years old male from Raipur suffering from Asthama was admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) passed on August 1. A 62 years woman from Kushalpur suffering from High Blood pressure was admitted in AIIMS, died on August 1. A 30 years old Transgender from Gurunanak chowk, Rikhiyapara was admitted in Medical College Hospital Raipur died on Sunday. Total active cases are 2559 and the patients are 272 in Durg, 202 Rajnandgaon, 8 Balod, 6 Bemetara, 63 Kabirdham, 1267 Raipur, 6 Dhamtari, 77 Balodabazar, 40 Mahasamund, 16 Gariaband, 124 Bilaspur, 54 Raigarh, 46 Korba, 44 Janjgir-Champa, 13 Mungeli, 6 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 34 Surguja, 24 Koriya, 11 Surajpur, 10 Balrampur, 15 Jashpur, 66 Bastar, 63 Kondagaon, 15 Dantewada, 16 Sukma, 18 Kanker, 14 Narainpur, 28 Bijapur and 1 of other state. Total cases in state are 9608 and the patients are 783 in Durg, 744 Rajnandgaon, 94 Balod, 128 Bemetara, 207 Kabirdham, 3112 Raipur, 39 Dhamtari, 404 Balodabazar, 147 Mahasamund, 97 Gariaband, 669 Bilaspur, 240 Raigarh, 412 Korba, 467 Janjgir-Champa, 175 Mungeli, 31 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 237 Surguja, 125 Koriya, 61 Surajpur, 197 Balrampur, 225 Jashpur, 199 Bastar, 111 Kondagaon, 135 Dantewada, 77 Sukma, 229 Kanker, 171 Narainpur, 84 Bijapur and 8 of other state.
 
Total discharged cases are 6991 and the patients are 503 in Durg, 539 Rajnandgaon, 86 Balod, 122 Bemetara, 144 Kabirdham, 1816 Raipur, 32 Dhamtari, 325 Balodabazar, 106 Mahasamund, 80 Gariaband, 542 Bilaspur, 184 Raigarh, 366 Korba, 421 Janjgir-Champa, 162 Mungeli, 25 Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi, 202 Surguja, 100 Koriya, 49 Surajpur, 187 Balrampur, 210 Jashpur, 132 Bastar, 48 Kondagaon, 120 Dantewada, 61 Sukma, 211 Kanker, 157 Narainpur, 56 Bijapur and 5 of other state. Patients discharged on Sunday are 381, out of which 118 are in Durg, 18 Rajnandgaon, 1 Balod, 1 Bemetara, 152 Raipur, 1 Balodabazaar, 7 Gariaband, 25 Bilaspur, 7 Raigarh, 2 Korba, 13 Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 6 Surajpur, 2 Koriya, 5 Kondagaon, 6 Dantewada, 16 Sukma and 1 Narainpur.
