City doctor introduces ‘air bubble’ for safety of corona warriors

In a bid to help frontline corona warriors to win the war against coronavirus, a doctor has devised a fully sealed, transparent, face covering like face suit, which he calls an air bubble. The man behind the discovery is Cardiologist Dr Skand Trivedi. He said that the air bubble will ease breathing while treating corona patients.
Dr Trivedi said, “COVID-19 basically spreads by breathing contaminated air. If our health workers inhale the same air exhaled by the patients they can be in trouble.” He adds, “I will be glad if this model is replicated by other Covid facilities as doctors and healthcare workers are not only getting COVID-19, but also dying because of the deadly virus.
This air bubble can be biggest tribute to all corona warriors.” The air bubble offers hope that even though coronavirus cases are rising in Bhopal, where almost 85 per cent Covid beds are occupied, our doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers, even though limited in number, will be able to safely help the State combat the pandemic. So far, nearly half-a-dozen doctors have succumbed to coronavirus in Madhya Pradesh.
