Picnic celebration turned to a tragedy when two boys went missing in the Temar river. The boys could not be located till late in the night at Temar fall under the jurisdiction of Bargi police station, on Sunday evening. The missing boys have been identified as Shahnawaz Khan (22) and Bashir (16), residents of Adhartal area.
 
The incident took place when a group of around two dozen persons reached Temar Fall for picnic celebration. They were enjoying the picnic when one of them fell down into the fall. Witnessing the incident, another boy tried to rescue his friend but he also fell into the river and was swept away with the force of water. Learning about the incident, police team reached the spot and local divers started search for the missing boys. Even after conducting a rigorous search, divers failed in finding the missing boys and a rescue team of State Disaster Emergency Relief Force (SDERF) reached the spot and started search for the boys.
 
CSP, Bargi, Ravi Chouhan informed that even after conducting a rigorous search two missing boys could not be found till event. Team of divers conducting a thorough search for the boys till late night and a large number of persons and relatives of missing boys were gathered on the spot. The tragic incident has exposed the strict implementation of complete lockdown as around two dozen boys from a corner of the city reached at another corner of the district without any police checking and restriction.
