A SHOP was sealed in 6 number market area while a fine of Rs 20,000 was imposed on 20 shopkeepers in Nishatpura market for not following COVID-19 protocols. Notably, lockdown has been lifted and the markets are opening with full fledge but the COVID-19 guidelines are to be followed to slow down the pace of coronavirus spread.
 
On the orders of Collector Avinash Lavania, the SDMs, Tehsildars and officials of Food Safety Department are inspecting the markets to ensure compliance of social distancing norms. Tehsildar Santosh Mudgal and officials of food department sealed a shop in 6 number market for the shopkeeper who was neither wearing a mask nor were his customers practicing social distancing.
 
During their inspection at Nishatpura area, the district administration officials found that many shopkeepers were not wearing masks. Acting to which a fine of Rs 20,000 was recovered from 15 shops for non-compliance of the collector’s orders. The district administration officials cautioned the shopkeepers to ensure 6 feet distance between the customers and also informed them to always wear a mask while selling items at their shops.
