IN A Wellbeing Webinar organised by spoby.in, noted sports personality of the city Mitesh Rambhia spoke on boosting immunity through fitness and training. Mitesh addressed about 62 participants and gave information about the basics of fitness and also highlighted the importance of fitness for boosting immunity. “Immunity cannot be boosted by only considering what you eat and drink, but also by what you do to maintain your body well. A regular routine fitness regime has to be in place for every human being and it is very important to dedicate at least an hour everyday for fitness,” said Rambhia, Founder of Adventures and You, while delivering his lecture on ‘Training for Fitness and Boosting Immunity’.

The guest speaker, who is a known personality in the Indian Table Tennis Circuit, India Rally Circuit, Formula One Race Circuit and Marathon Circuit across India and abroad, also advised that one should have natural food and avoid packaged foods and supplements. Rambhia, a seasoned marathoner with 80+ marathons across India, suggested that senior citizens can maintain their fitness level and boost immunity by regular walks, exercises and yoga.

At the end, there was a question and answer session wherein he addressed the queries of the participants who wanted to know about how to prepare for a marathon, what fitness regime did he follow himself, how should one keep oneself motivated to consistently follow fitness routines. People were curious to know about his Mumbai-Nagpur run (a solo run of 890 kms in 13 days) and organ donation initiative. Mitesh is an experienced marathons organiser in Central India.
