“Distribution and Cable Testing Lab of the Eastern Region Power Distribution Company is an ideal symbol of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission’ of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Government of Madhya Pradesh.
 
By August 15, 2020 such labs would be commissioned in Indore and Bhopal”, said Akash Tripathi, Chairman of three Power Distribution Companies of the State and Managing Director of the MP Power Management Company during inspection of Distribution Transfer and Cable Lab. MD Tripathi said the Transformer of different Manufacturer having higher failure rate would be blacklisted. He instructed to increase test of Distribution Transformer and Cable at the laboratory.
 
Tripathi was informed by the Engineers of Eastern Region Power Distribution Company that the Jabalpur Distribution Transformer and Cable Lab would be soon accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Cal-liberation Laboratories. During inspection Tripathi was accompanied by PMCom, Chief General Manager, F K Meshram, Deputy GM G S Khanuja, ERCom, Chief General Manager D K Pandev, Executive Engineer Store, R C Sahu and others were present.
