The employees of all Mandi Samitis in State will now be employees of the Mandi Board. The tension of pension of the retired employees has also ended. Fund of Rs 200 crores will remain in the reserved fund. Important decisions were taken in the interests of the employees of Mandi Board in the 135th meeting of Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board chaired by Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel. Kamal Patel approved the appointment of employees of all Mandi Samitis in State as employees of the Mandi Board in the meeting.
 
He instructed to submit an integrated proposal to complete the necessary formalities in this regard. Patel said that no employee of the Mandi Samiti now needs to take tension for pension after retirement. Funds worth Rs 200 crore will be kept secure in the reserve fund in the Mandi Board.
 
 
This will ensure lifetime pension to the employees after retirement. Patel said that the State Government is very well aware of the concerns of the employees. The Mandi employees should continue to work better and need not worry. Mandis will be developed as smart mandis so that they can enter the competition in the market. This will increase the income of the mandis. Smart Mandis will also benefit the farmers.
