Youth, one minor held for attacking two with knife

Telibandha Police on Thursday arrested a youth and one minor on the charges of attacking and injuring two youths with a knife over some old disputes on September 9, Wednesday. According to the report, victims as Sheikh Haider and his brother Afridi Mohammad had gone to have some snacks at a Chaupati near Urja Park. Here, three other youths namely Babbu Sindhi, Lokesh Rajput and Sahil Khan, resident of Fokatpara Telibandha were also present.
In the meantime, accused minor and his friend Shubham Sahu came on a bike. As Babbu Sindhi and friends saw Sheikh and his brother Afridi eating at the same spot, they started fighting with them. Babbu Sindhi attacked Sheikh and Afridi with a knife.
After the attack, Sheikh and Afridi were admitted to the Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hospital with serious wounds. On their report, Police have registered an offence under Section 294, 307 and 34 of Indian Penal Code. Police had arrested Lokesh Rajput and a minor boy while a search of the others was still going on.
