KRIDA Mandal’s Nagpur Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalya organised one day national-level webinar on ‘Modern Trends and Scientific Approach in Training Competitive Hockey’. The webinar was organised on the occasion of National Sports Day which was celebrated on the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. Dr Subhash Choudhary, ViceChancellor, RashtrasantTukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University was the chief guest on the occasion. President of Krida Mandal Dilip Dhabe presided over. Former India coach Harendra Singh, Olympian Tushar Khandker, Edgar Mascharenhas were the resource persons. Harendra spoke on the use of electronic gadgets to enhance

players performance while Mascharenhas presented his views on modern approach of coaching -- changing times and Khandker spoke on train the trainer in modern hockey.

 

Dr Tapan Dutta, Officiating Principal, Nagpur Sharirik Shikshan Mahavidyalya and Organising Secretary made the introductory remark. The webinar was technically supported by Dr Amit Tembhurne and Dr Pravin Kumar. The sessions were compered by Assistant Prof Suyesh Pandagale while Asst Prof Dr Kumkum Boratkar proposed a vote of thanks. Over 680 delegates from all over the country attended the webinar. Dr RR Durge, Dr VV Rathod, Dr Amarkant Chakole, Dr Shriram Aglawe, Dr Rajni Murkute and others worked hard for the success.
