‘No dearth of oxygen in State’

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during a review meeting of corona said that there is no crisis of oxygen in the State. Adequate oxygen is available. No one needs to worry. Necessary arrangements have already been made by the State Government.
Coordination is also being established with various State governments. CM Chouhan added that Principal Secretary Medical Education Sanjay Shukla has been entrusted with the responsibility to monitor availability of oxygen in the State.
There is need for constant awareness about corona pandemic in the State. Fever clinics set up in health institutions should work constantly with activeness to test and treat individuals with possible symptoms.
To monitor people under home isolation, officers incharge should also constantly monitor arrangements of the command and control centres, set up at district-level.
It was informed in the meeting that the recovery rate of the State is 75.3 per cent. So far, 83,619 positive cases have been reported in the State. The number of recovered cases is 62,936.
 
During review of the district-wise situation, CM Chouhan instructed to send a specialist from Gwalior Medical College to Shivpuri. He also sought information about capacity and resources available at AIIMS Bhopal.
