Provide better treatment to corona patients without any pressure: CM Baghel

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel held a high level meeting with Health Minister T S Singhdeo, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and senior officers at his official residence on Friday to take the stock of corona situation in the state. Chief Minister Baghel has directed the officials of the Health Department to take the help of social organisations and non-government organisations (NGOs) to contain the spread of coronavirus infections in State. Baghel has also asked the officials to associate the office-bearers of dharmashalas and ashrams run by various societies to stop the spread of coronavirus infections.
 
The Chief Minister has given strict instructions to senior officers and collectors to provide better treatment according to the advice of the doctors and the condition of the corona patient, without any lobbying and pressure. Health Minister T S Singhdeo, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey, Chief Secretary R P Mandal, Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Renu G Pillay, Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahoo, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Vinod Verma, Advisors to CM Pradeep Sharma, Rajesh Tiwari and Ruchir Garg attended the meeting.
 
The Chief Minister has directed the officials to increase corona testing facility in the districts. The officials have been asked to increase beds at the corona care centres. The testing facilities should be increased for identification of corona patients.
 
Baghel has directed the officers to ensure maximum presence of doctors and nurses in covid hospitals and isolation centres so that the corona patients can be given better care.
 
The Chief Minister has directed the doctors and nursing staff to maintain a continuous dialogue with the patients admitted at the covid hospital and take regular rounds in the wards of the hospitals. Baghel also suggested taking the services of post graduate students of medical colleges and final year students of nursing colleges.
