Sultry weather gives toug
Weather conditions remain sultry in Bhopal and many other parts of the State. As rains have stopped hence humidity and heat is giving a torrid time to people. Meanwhile, rainfall activities were witnessed in isolated parts of the State in last 24 hours.
 
In last 24 hours, light to moderate rains occurred in the State. Major rainfall figures were recorded in Badnagar (7 cm), Jora, Mohkheda, Singrauli, Mandla (5 cm each), Gautampura, Khandwa, Ghodadongri, Jobat (4 cm each), Badnawar, Sailana, Sendwa, Depalpura, Ratlampura, Udaipura, Mohgaon, Saunsar (3 cm each), Bichaua, Chand, Gugri, Rewa, Jeerapur, Badoh, Itarsi, Bainsdehi, Bhagwanpura, Rawati, Ujjain, Susner (2 cm each) respectively.
 
In its forecast, Weather Department told that heavy rains are likely in some parts of Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Betul, Harda, Khargone, Khandwa, Alirajpur districts. Rains are likely in some places of Jabalpur, Shahdol, Hoshangabad, Ujjain, Indore divisions and a few places of Rewa, Sagar, Bhopal, Gwalior and Chambal divisions respectively.
 
Thunder activities are likely in some places of Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Betul, Harda, Khargone, Khandwa, Alirajpur districts. Thunder activities may also hit a few places of Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Indore, Ujjain, Shahdol, Jabalpur divisions and Damoh districts respectively. Local forecast for the State capital says that the sky will remain partially cloudy and thunder activities are likely in a few places of city.
