Congress starts preparations for Marwahi by-poll

Ahead of Marwahi by-poll, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) organised a training programme for booth, sector and zone in-charges of Marwahi assembly constituency at Danikunti and Marwahi on Sunday. State Congress Spokesman Vikas Tiwari said that the Congress party has started preparations for Marwahi by-poll.
 
Tiwari said that booth, sector and zone in-charges of the Marwahi assembly constituency are being provided training ahead of Marwahi assembly by-poll and the Congress party is making all efforts to win the Marwahi assembly seat. Senior Congress leader Surendra Sharma, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Vinod Verma and Parliamentary Advisor to Chief Minister Rajesh Tiwari are imparting training to the booth, sector and zone in-charges of the Marwahi assembly constituency.
 
CPCC President Mohan Markam has on Saturday reached Marwahi on his three-day visit. The CPCC President also addressed the party leaders in the training programme. CPCC In-charge General Secretary Chandrashekhar Shukla, CPCC Vice-President Atal Shrivastava, Vijay Kesharwani and other party leaders were also present in the training programme. The training programme will conclude on September 22.
