Many take part in Cyclothon complying with COVID norms to promote fitness

Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) in collaboration with Bhopal Smart City link Development Corporation Limited and Bhopal City Link Limited organised India cycle for change challenge on Sunday. BMC Commissioner KVS Chaudhary and Smart City CEO Aditya Singh also participated in Cyclothon. He said that this event was organised to promote cycling in the city.
 
The event also witnessed awareness about benefit of cycling. The event was organised with COVID-19 Standard operating procedure and social distancing was maintained between cyclists. Cyclothon covered 8 km rally via MP Nagar, Bhopal Hatt, Birla Mandir, Maviya Nagar, Link road route. Environment-lovers showed immense enthusiasm on Sunday morning by participating in a Cyclothon. Cyclothon was flagged off and witnessed good number of cyclists of all age groups.
 
Cyclothon passed through Board Office Chauraha, MP Nagar, Habibganj Railway Crossing. Bhopal Municipal Corporation is making complete efforts to encourage healthy life style and save environment. The basic objective is to encourage use of cycle treks to promote green mode of transportation in the city. Talking about another environment-friendly initiative BMC Commissioner KVS Chaudhary said that during pandemic like COVID-19 its must that one should focus on being fit and healthy and also do all efforts to enhance immune system.
