A young injured leopard from Indore zoo was brought to Bhopal on Monday for further treatment. CT scan of the leopard was conducted at State Veterinary Hospital, Jahangirabad, with the help of Van Vihar team. Dr Atul Gupta from Van Vihar National Park tranquillised the leopard and conducted the CT scan. After required test, the leopard was sent to Indore zoo.
 
The leopard was brought to Indore zoo in an injured condition from Nayapura area in August. The leopard has several injuries on face and eyes. Veterinary doctors are treating the leopard and after curing the wound, he will be released into wild.
 
According to forest officials Villagers of Nayapura informed about the fight of two leopards during late night hours and then team reached the spot and found two leopards in aggressive mood. Both leopards were fighting and one of them was severely injured. The team drove off the leopards by using fire and other tricks. The team captured the injured leopard for further treatment at zoo. Veterinary team is trying to heal the wounds of leopard.
