THE initiative taken by Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is useful in providing skilled manpower as per demand of the industry and also for job creation. Such activities will continue in district, assured Shailesh Nawal, Amravati District Collector here recently while addressing a programme organised during departure of students for training and placement at Aurangabad. ITI has taken steps to get placement for students. Under the same initiative, 59 students left for Dhoot Transmission, Aurangabad, by bus for employment and training purposes.
 
This included students pursuing ITI and Vocational Education (MCVC). Interacting with students, Shailesh Nawal also guided them. District Vocational Education and Training Officer Kamlakar Visale was prominantly present. Kamlakar Visale informed that continuous conversations with administration at Dhoot Transmission cleared way for providing employment to aspiring candidates involved in the business. For this job, 2,052 ITIs in the district and 1173 MCVC candidates have been registered on Google database.
 
On the occasion, Principal of the district O P Kumre, Lokhande, Placement Committee Coordinator Rajesh Hande, Patbage, Kathale, Kale, Wankhade, Borkar, Inspector in charge, District Amravati and Poonam Pingale, Musle and MCVC teacher Haridas Khule, Shivaji Deshmukh, Chaudhary, Bhagat, Shinde and Wankhade were present. Candidates were given masks, medical kits, snacks by Vijay Mahed.
