Ashok Nagar to be made Smart City 
 
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that no house will remain Kuchcha in the next 3 years in the State. Financial help is being given to build pucca house by the Government under the housing schemes. Now, poor, labourers, farmers do not have to worry for anything in the state, the government is taking care of their needs. The Sambal Yojana has been re-started in the State, which is a security cover for poor. Through this scheme, various kinds of assistance are being made available to the poor.
 
Chouhan was addressing on the occasion of inauguration and foundation laying of development works in Rajpur of Ashok Nagar district. In the programme, he inaugurated and laid foundation of development works costing total Rs 244.92 crore. Ashok Nagar to be made Smart City: CM announced that Ashok Nagar will be made Smart City. All facilities will be provided here as per the provisions of the scheme. He also announced for starting an Agriculture College from next year.
 
Will not let paucity of funds hinders people’s welfare: Chouhan said that because of the COVID crisis, the economy of the state has been hit hard, but he will not let paucity of funds hinders people’s welfare and state’s development.
 
If required, the government will undertake the works by obtaining loan. Distributes benefits under various schemes: CM distributed benefits of various beneficiaries’ oriented schemes in the programme. He distributed 40 tricycles to 40 Divyangs and hearing aid to 455 beneficiaries. Member of Parliament Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jajpal Singh Jajji, Umesh Raghuvanshi and others were present in the programme.
