The Jabalpur Municipal Corporation conducted a special cleanliness drive at heritage and tourists spots, on World Tourism Day, on Sunday. Following the directions of Municipal Commissioner, Anoop Kumar Singh several teams of the Municipal Corporation with due support of voluntary organisations conducted special cleaning of the tourist spots.
 
The team members picked up garbage and other waste from the site and also cleaned the spots by brooms. They later took the pledge of keeping the tourist spots and heritage points clean. Besides, they also vowed for protection of the sites. Municipal Commissioner Singh informed that he had directed all senior officials and employees of health department of the JMC to ensure proper cleaning of tourist spots, monuments of historical importance and heritages on World Tourism Day.
 
Accordingly, the officials along with members of social and voluntary organisations conducted special drive and ensured proper cleaning at the sites. Amongst the senior officials participated in the drive were In-charge Cleanliness and Assistant Commissioner, Ekta Agrawal, Assistant Health Officer Anil Bari, Chief Sanitation Inspector Harsha Patel and Chetan Joshi, Sanjay Bhaiswar, Anshu Vishwe, Ravish Arora and others of Care For You organisation.
