Dedicates 1.5 km- long flyover costing Rs 108 crore
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a tale of development is being written in the state with the guidance and help of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. New chapters will be added to this tale of development. Chouhan was addressing the inaugural function of 1.5 km long flyover, constructed in Morena at a cost of Rs 108 crore via webcast from Bhopal. Union Minister for Agriculture, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar was the Chief Guest of the programme, held in Morena.
Expressing gratitude to the Union Minister for Road Transport Shri Nitin Gadkari and Union Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with the construction of flyover, the movement will be convenient and comfortable in Morena.
He further mentioned that the area is moving forward on the path of development with the activities like upgrading Morena to Municipal Corporation, construction of hospital and collectorate building, road network and expansion of irrigation facilities. On the occasion of inauguration, Union Minister for A griculture, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar said that the flyover will save fuel as well as time. Along with this, people will get rid of pollution and accidents. Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways General V K Singh said on the occasion that better roads accelerate development. This flyover will change the condition of the area and lead to progress.
