BJP’s Election Management Committee meeting was held in State capital on Monday. By-elections preparations were reviewed in this meeting and decision was taken that from Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, party workers and leaders will organise conventions in 127 mandals situated in by-election bound 28 Assembly seats. Informing about decisions taken in the Election Management Committee of party during a press conference, Minister Bhupendra Singh told that from Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, party will organise conventions in 127 mandals of by-poll bound constituencies.
 
Local district and organisation office-bearers, State party organisation office-bearers, booth committee member etc will participate in these conventions. Party leaders will go to two mandals in a day and will address the convention. During this, social distancing will be followed to keep away the threat posed by corona. Masks will be provided to party workers and this will also promote social awareness. He also spoke about Maha Jansampark Abhiyan which was started from September 25 and continued till September 27. He claimed that party received overwhelming response during the mega mass contact programme in by-poll bound areas. Around 11 lakh families were approached during the campaign.
