Deeply unsatisfied with the government ignorance towards their demands, Junior doctors of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College Hospital boycotted the Chief Minister’s Corona Warrior felicitation Ceremony. As per sources, junior doctors are also serving their duties tying black band as a mark of protest. President, Junior Doctor Association, NSCB Medical College Hospital, Dr Pankaj Singh informed that right from the beginning of COVID outbreak, the government promised us of various incentives, however with time, everything vanished.

JuDA demanded to increase stipend and other incentives as we are continuously serving COVID duties since 7 months putting their own life on risk. On the other, officials in NSCB Medical College Hospital said that JuDA's demands have already put before the government. As long as incentive amount is concerned, it's comes under the government's jurisdiction. Secretary, JuDA, Dr Rahul Gupta said that the junior doctors are serving COVID patients with all determination.

We apprised the government with our problems many times but the State Government has always ignored our demands. Whether its for incentive, Remdesivir injection for junior doctors and other demands. They also discussed their issues with the Medical Education Minister but once again their demands were kept aside by the government. Hence, they decided t boycott felicitation ceremony for corona warriors.
