The Principal Secretary also said that a special action plan will be made for the historic buildings and work will be done to restore such Mahals which depicts the history of the State 
 
A museum portraying history of Bhopal will be constructed at Sadar Manzil, said Principal Secretary of Culture, Archaeology and Museums departments Shivshekhar Shukla on Thursday. The Principal Secretary made the above remarks while inspecting the Sadar Manzil, Moti Mahal and Gauhar Mahal. Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania was also present during the inspection.
 
In the view of a Sadar Manzil’s wall that had collapsed a few days ago an inspection of the archaeological department was conducted here. Shukla said Sadar Manzil will become a scenic place of Bhopal after its old glory is retained and there should be a place for museum in it. He directed the officials of Smart City and those of Bhopal Municipal Corporation to take actions in this regard.
 
The Principal Secretary also said that a special action plan will be made for the historic buildings and work will be done to restore such Mahals which depicts the history of the State. While inspecting Moti Mahal, P S Shukla said that a DPR will be made for the renovation of historic buildings of Bhopal. For that a plan will be formulated after an audit of all such buildings in Bhopal is conducted, he added. Collector Avinash Lavania directed the BMC officials to remove parking from the nearby areas of heritage buildings including Sadar Manzil.
