Bright sunny day increase
As rains have stopped and sky having only partial cloud cover, weather has turned dry in Bhopal. With this, humidity and heat is back to haunt people. Similar is the situation in many other regions of the State. Weather Department has forecast rainfall activities in isolated places of State in next twenty four hours.
 
As there is no rainfall activity and day remains bright, Bhopal’s maximum temperature surged to 34.5 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal. Its night temperature was 23.5 degrees Celsius, 1 degree above normal. In last twenty-four hours, rains drenched several parts of Shahdol, Jabalpur, Sagar, Ujjain divisions and a few places of rest regions of State. Major rainfall activities were recorded Sonkuch (9 cm), Jeerapur, Paraswada (6 cm each), Batiagarh, Sarai, Sheopurkalan (5 cm each), Devsar, Shahpura, Badwah (4 cm each), Pichore, Damoh, Gotegaon, Mehadwani (3 cm each) respectively.
 
Weather conditions will remain unchanged for next twenty-four hours, Bhopal will have partial cloud cover and showers are likely in isolated places of city. Rainfall activities have become less as monsoon system has become weak. The last active monsoon spell brought heavy to very heavy rains, bringing spate in all rivers and leaving many places flooded. With this, state has received more than normal rainfall so far.
