City market open, hesitation witnessed among people

Scare of the pandemic still prevails among citizens due to which many people voluntarily decided to stay indoors 
 
Notwithstanding the total unlock decisions of Government, all markets and shops in city were opened on Sunday after five months. There was a kind of hesitation witnessed among people while stepping out in market this Sunday. However, there were various restrictions in market as people were asked to wear face mask, sanitise hand and thermal screening was made at various shops. New Market, one of the major crowd areas of city witnessed rush of buyers but maximum people carried mask and hand sanitiser to follow safety norms.
 
Police check points were also set up in markets to keep an eye on visitors. Scare of the pandemic still prevails among citizens due to which many people voluntarily decided to stay indoors. 10 no market was also open on full fledge but buyers were not much interested. Shopkeepers said that people are visiting the shop for short duration and purchasing essential items only. Mahesh Verma, a shop keeper at 10 no market sad, “Scared of the pandemic people are visiting shop for short duration and purchasing the items as per their list only. They do not want to spend extra seconds at shop even after safety measures.” He further said, earlier children were also coming to the market but now they are completely absent which is affecting the business.
