Swachhta Pakhwada will be organised from September 7 to 21. Besides spreading awareness on mission and the importance of keeping surroundings clean and hygienic in all wards across the city, the BMC is planning to rope in Swacchta Mitra for taking up cleanliness drives in parks, premises of schools, colleges and other places, colonies
Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner KVS Chaudhary took review meeting for Swachhta Pakhwada which is going to start from September 7. This will be organised from September 7 to September 21. Bhopal Smart City Development Corporation CEO Aditya Singh, Additional Bhopal Municipal Commissioner Shashwat Meena etc were present in the meeting which was organised at ISBT Office.
Besides spreading awareness on the mission and the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and hygienic in all wards across the city, the BMC is planning to rope in Swacchta Mitra for taking up cleanliness drives at parks, premises of schools, colleges and other places, colonies etc. Various activities will be organised as a part of Swachhta Pakhwada 2020 under Swachh Bharat Mission. BMC Commssioner KVS Chaudhary urged officials to adopt sustainable practices and facilities through awareness creation and health education.
The campaign will start Swachhta Pledge taking Ceremony, whereby all the staff and volunteers will start a chain to indulge themselves in such practices which not only contributes towards sustainable development but also influence others to do the same. The officials were also asked to put forward their views on the topic “Say No to Plastic Campaign”.
