CITY’S national football referee Stanley Gregory and Upendra Varma, who is associated with various sports associations, have been awarded with doctorate degrees in physical education in the faculty of interdisciplinary studies. Gregory’s research title was ‘A Critical Study of Emotional Competence, Adjustment and Alienation Traits in Football Referee Officiating at Different Levels.’
 
The research was completed under the supervision of Dr Sanjay Chaudhary. Earlier, Dr Gregory had acquired MPEd and M.Phil in Physical Education. Varma’s research title was ‘A Comparative Study of Eye-Hand Co-ordination Ability, Reaction Time and Personality Factors of Handball and Hockey Players Participating in University and State Level Tournaments.’ Varma completed his research under the supervision of Dr Sachin Chaple, Principal, Arts College, Sihora, Bhandara.
 
Dr Varma had acquired MPEd and M.Phil in Physical Education. Both Gregory and Varma give the credit of their achievements to Dr Sanjay Choudhary, Ex-Co-ordinator.
