Sanitisation activities carried out in various parts of city

Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) employees carried out sanitisation drive in containment zones in city on Monday. Sanitisation activities were also carried out in other places including main markets. Spray machines were used to spray disinfectant. Apart from containment zones, sanitisation activities were carried out in Bhawani Dham, Geet Bungalow, Ganesh Mandir area, Sagar Indus Garden, Shakti Nagar, Sadiq Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, Chanakyapuri, Khatiq Colony, Berkheda Pathani, Shahpura Market, Priyanka Nagar, Hoshangabad Road, Chinar Dream City, Ratanpur etc. Notably, new corona cases are coming to fore in State capital on daily basis.
As lockdown has been abolished completely and people resuming to normal life, BMC has decided to go for comprehensive sanitisation to stop the chain of corona cases. Along with efforts being made to prevent spread of corona disease, BMC is also taking initiatives for prevention of seasonal diseases. To combat with threat posed by insects including mosquitoes, fogging is being done in various parts of city. On Monday, fogging was done in Jehangirabad, Bank Colony, Navjeevan Colony, Tallaiya, Ginnori, Mantri Bungalow, Chanchal Nagar, Chacha Nehru Park, Gautam Nagar, Budh Vihar etc.
