Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that loss caused by the floods will be compensated fully to the affected people by the Government. They will get compensation and crop insurance amount against damage to crops. Damaged houses will be rebuilt and the damage caused to food grains, domestic items etc. will also be compensated according to the provisions of RBC 6/4. CM took a stock of the flood-hit villages Ninor, Jahajpura, Bhadkul, Anwlighat, Jajna, Nehlai, Chakaldi and Salkanpur etc. of Sehore district on Tuesday.
 
He was accompanied by the Member of Parliament Ramakant Bhargava, Collector Ajay Gupta and others. CM said that 50 houses in Jahajpur village and 90 in Anwlighat, Barna Nehlai, Mathagaon have been destroyed completely. For reconstruction of the house, an amount of Rs 1 lakh to 2 lakh will be given as assistance. He said that 50 kg free foodgrain will be given to each flood affected person. Apart from this, they will get 5 kg free food grain till the month of November. Fair price ration in ratio of 5 kg. per person at the rate of Re one per kg will also be provided to poor under the Food Security scheme.
 
Complete the survey soon: CM: During visit to flood-hit villages of Sehore district, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan directed Collector to provide compensation to the affected people after completing the survey soon. Financial help (Ranging between Rs 70,000 and 1,00,000) should be lend from MGNREGA scheme to those farmers, whose fields are damaged and Gaushala sheds are destroyed for restoration works in fields and reconstruction of Gaushala. CM paid tribute to Late Mahtab Singh Solanki, representative of Member of Parliament in Bhadkul village and consoled the bereaved family.
